AWIS-Seattle Chapter- Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee

We are interested in recruiting new members and retaining current members in AWIS. We are specifically interested in attracting women in local biotech at all levels of their career. And expanding our membership into other disciplines represented in Seattle, in particular Environmental Sciences and Oceanography. Please help us to identify areas to improve to draw in these demographics.

If you would like to assist in our efforts by hosting an AWIS coffee hour on your campus or local community, please contact Programs@seattleawis.org for more information.

Please take our survey to help us design a program to better serve our members here .

At Seattle AWIS, we provide programs that are free and open to the public. We want to create an environment that welcomes a diverse group of women interested in science. But we do encourage you to join to receive the full benefits of membership.
